Setting up & Configuration of Netscape 6 Email

Launch Netscape 6

Click on the "Mail" icon in the lower left corner.

Click on Edit and select Mail/News Account Settings...

Click on the "New Account" button.

Place a check in front of "ISP or email provider" Click Next.

Enter in your first and last name, and your email address. Click Next.

Place a check in front of POP for the type of incoming server you are using. Also enter in popmail.real-time.com for the incoming (POPMAIL) server and mail.real-time.com as the outgoing (SMTP) server. Click Next.

Enter the Username for your account. Click Next.

Enter a Account Name in which to refer to this account. Click Next.

Verify that the account information is correct and click Finish.

You should now see the Account Settings window. Click OK to exit.

Check for new messages by click on the Get Msg icon.
